Ingredients for Chilli Gobi - Chilli Cauliflower

   1. Cauliflower florets - 2 cups
   2. Ginger - 1 tbsp, chopped
   3. Onion - 1 big, chopped
   4. Sesame seeds - 1 tsp (optional)
   5. Garlic - 1 1/2 tbsp, sliced
   6. Tomato sauce - 2 tbsp
   7. Soya sauce - 1.5 tbsp
   8. Green chilly - 1-2 nos
   9. Red chilly sauce - 1.5 tbsp
  10. Pepper powder - 1 tsp
  11. Vinegar - 1tsp
  12. Sugar - 1 tsp
  13. Salt - to taste
  14. Oil - for shallow fry
  15. Below Items For Marination - =================
  16. all prupose flour (maida) - 3 tsp, for marination
  17. Cornflour - 2 tsp
  18. Water - 1/2 cup, for marination
  19. Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp, for marination
  20. Oil - 1 tsp, for marination
  21. Salt - 1 tsp or to taste, for marination


Preparation Steps for Chilli Gobi - Chilli Cauliflower

   1. Boil the cauliflower florets in salted water for 3-5 minutes and drain the water completely.
   2. Make a thick batter with the marination ingredients (all prupose flour, Cornflour, Pepper powder, salt, oil and water)
   3. Dip the cauliflower florets in the batter & shallow fry. when the florets become golden brown, Keep it aside.
   4. In the same oil, add sesame seeds, ginger & garlic, green chilly & onion. Cook till the onion becomes soft.
   5. When onion becomes soft, add all the sauces, pepper powder, vinegar, sugar and salt in the same oil and Mix well.
   6. Add the fried cauliflower & combine well. Make sure that the florets are well coated with the sauces. Garnish with spring onion, coriander leaves etc; Serve hot.
